The Montreux International Business Club (MIB) was founded in 1993. From the start, its mission was to foster and improve international relations on the Riviera by inviting active or retired business professionals to join as members.
The MIB is the interface between Swiss and Foreign residents enabling them to meet and exchange ideas on business, culture, economic and professional issues. To fulfill our objective, the Committee organizes eight to ten events a year, in order to bring our members closer together. This facilitates the exchanges between members and local professionals. They can discuss important trends and challenges of present day, and remain up to date with the current affairs.
Our Members are Swiss or Foreign business professionals, man and women, active or retired, residing on the Riviera. Presently the MIB is proud to count more than 120 members of all nationalities, occupations and backgrounds.
Events: The MIB publishes an annual program filled with conference luncheons, company visits and cultural events. On occasion, the MIB is also involved as sponsor.
Most of the monthly luncheon meetings are taking place on Mondays at the renowned Montreux Palace Hotel. Individual invitations are sent for each event and members can invite personal guests.
French and English are the two “official” MIB languages.
